With all the troubles in the world today, money spent on space exploration is a complete waste. The money could better spent on other things.

It is in a human nature to be curious, to discover or to invent things. This is the base of our today’s evolution, and it is impossible to put a price on benefits, or on knowledge achieved. No matter in what field of study we invest, every one of it is contributing to our development and space exploration is no exception.

Firstly, it’s my believe that we don’t spend enough money and effort for understanding outer space. Of course, this is a very expensive field, and only few developed country has actually invest in it, but as long as, so much money are spend on unnecessary and harmful things like wars, it could be possible to invest more on it. As a result, our knowledge about Universe seemed trivial by comparison, and even so our little discovers had bring us many benefits. For example the researchers could predict if any asteroid would collide with the earth.

Secondly, the most important disapproving argument is that we don’t have the technology to travel through Universe on very long distance. However it is important to say that space exploration it’s not reduced to send people in space. Actually many of the discovers are made here on  Earth. For example, in present day scientists try to obtain antimatter through laboratory experiment. Although there are many voices who believe that those experiments could destroy the Earth itself, it has been scientific proved that this could bring us huge benefits.

In conclusion, researching in any field, especially in this new one,  is not at all a waste of time or money. Knowledge of the universe should bring us incommensurable advantages, and in consequence we should invest much more on it.
